Mean Streets
Good things are afoot. I just lost my keys at the Mccarren Pool Tuesday night movie (Mean Streets) and had to bust into my apartment. So I’m amped up enough from the whole ordeal to commit it to blog and that doesn’t come as a surprise as I got off on something similar last week-->Key broke off in my front door and I had had to maneuver up through the alley behind the Japanese restaurant next door and onto my roof. This was just an hour before my first duo gig with Kamara in ages at The Living Room so I was able to plow through an otherwise frightening prospect with some of the excitement I’d built up what with the break in and all. I only have good things to say about our having begun to play these Living Room gigs again. Among them is that it’s good to be able to hear each other sing on stage again. That’s not always the case at some of our nation’s finest mid-size rock clubs. More to the point though we’ve been rehearsing like banshees on 24th Street and just started working up a new pair of songs this past week that will hopefully make the cut when it comes time to record in December. Much love, MW
PS-Many thanks to those who came to see us at the Safe to Swim Festival in Danbury, CT this past Saturday. We now know we like us a good bandshelling.

I heard you guys on 101.9 and I was blown by your songs. The first thing I did when i got home from work was give my son some dinner then went on iTunes to buy both of your albums!
I can’t wait for you guys to perform in NY soon.
