Where phantoms strange from three made one
Then marked the beast and mocked the sun
Lay languid in a starry gaze
A mongrel that the gods did raise
To phantom speed and siren’s wail
(Its wake made seem a thresher’s flail)
And from the deep the mermaids hailed,
“Its flashing eyes! Its golden tail!”
A greyhound walks the range tonight
And from its mouth did thus alight

Hi Matt, Thanks for being so sweet and so amazing at Gimme Shelter in NYC. Wish we could have chatted, things got crazy busy. Wanted to talk about greyhounds. Looking forward to seeing you at your Oct 31 show. Hearing you guys play at a charity concert for animals was a beautiful combination.
Shine on,
Jamie

Hey Matt,
Just wanted to say that it was really awesome meeting you Friday night (June 6th) in Detroit. You guys played a killer show! I know it was dead at that place, but don’t hold it against the city! We just won a Stanley Cup thanks to our kick ass Red Wings and I think the Stanley Cup parade that afternoon wiped out most of the city or I’m sure it would’ve been a full house! It didn’t keep me away though! Like I told you that night, I saw you guys in Cleveland at the HOB with Chris Cornell and dug you so much and was super pumped to see you guys playing in my town. Thanks for a great show. You guys really rock.

Hey, Matt-- It was great meeting you tonight...you guys are so badassss. Can’t wait to hear you play again and to hear some more new tunes! One of my favorite quotes is “music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” and I’m pretty sure whoever said that was thinking of you guys!
Thanks!

New album soon? How about a trip to Europe?
You see, we have rocked soft targets with a power stance ya’ll would be proud of and now we must have something more!
Last time we saw ya was in New Orleans. We busted ass from the airport to make it in time. The show blasted off one of the best, and most adult, weekends of our life. Gracias.
We will only be in the mid west through august and then we are headed overseas. I know, I know, the midwest can’t produce a crowd that can handle ya’lls power and sexiness, but please come and see us! We promise to dance, sing and praise Kamara’s miniskirts, cowboy boots and feathers. We promise to bring friends and pumping fists. We promise to, “rock the faces and mix the races.”
Here’s to keeping rock n’ roll alive! We salute you!
