Getting my mind rocked right now… If you’re in need of some heady
summer reading, may I recommend “The Spell of the Sensuous” by David
Abram… In a nutshell, he explains how we humans became so separated
from the natural rhythms of mama Earth, and then goes on to prove how
everything from our language to the most basic functions of our
cognition are dependent on her substance… Whoa.

    Now that sounds like an important and interesting read……just heard about a playground for kids in Germany which they build themselves - from 6 years up! There are nails sticking out, the structures look like out of a Dr Seuss drawing, etc., but the idea is that you will not really learn and experience if everything is too safe and homogenized.
    And, funnily enough, there are less accidents in the “unsafe” and wild playground…….
