In the Spring of 2002 Matt Whyte and Kamara Thomas began performing together at a host of New York venues paring down epic Queen, Led Zeppelin, and David Bowie songs to all that could fit in two voices and a guitar. As the two continued to sing together Chris Bear entered the frame with a drumming style and voice that launched the band through to its place as an electric rock trio bound by harmony and rhythm in its songs and sound. After only a half dozen shows in New York, Earl Greyhound was picked up by Kindercore Records which is releasing the band's debut EP in Spring 2004. Produced by Britt Meyers (Essex Green, Dressy Bessy, Palomar), Earl Greyhound's self-titled debut is sure to make a lasting impression on ears of rock fans everywhere.
Earl Greyhound is:
Matt Whyte - Lead Vocals, Guitar
Kamara Thomas - Bass, Vocals
Christopher Bear - Drums
